Gold Coast Runners Events
The club hosts special events each year in addition to our weekly run-walks. The Firefighter's 5K in September, benefiting the Firefighter's Fund, takes place on the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk. The Run Through Central Park is another annual event which winds through the shady streets of Plantation and through our regular running path at Central park, with a dramatic finish on the racing track.
We also host an annual club picnic, bowling party, and holiday brunch. There will also be one-time events such as shoe trials and guest speakers. Members will be notified of special events via email and announcements in the South Florida Running Forum.
